Spur Cookie Notice

Last updated: July 24, 2026

This Cookie Notice explains how Shotz App LLC, doing business as Spur, uses cookies and similar technologies on takeactionwithspur.com. It supplements the Spur Privacy Policy.

Strictly Necessary Technologies

Spur uses local browser storage to remember your cookie preferences. This is strictly necessary to respect your selection. Our website host may also process technical information needed to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the website. These technologies cannot be switched off through our cookie settings.

Advertising Cookies And Similar Technologies

If you select “Accept all,” Spur loads the Meta Pixel provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. The Pixel sends a generic PageView event on public marketing pages such as the home page and How It Works page. We use it to measure the effectiveness of Spur advertising campaigns and to personalize Spur ads on Meta services.

Spur does not activate the Pixel before permission. We do not configure it to send your Spur goals, reflections, form entries, app activity, consumer health data, or other sensitive app content. We do not fire Meta events on our Privacy Policy, Terms, Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy, or this Cookie Notice. We do not use Meta advanced matching.

When activated, Meta may receive information such as your IP address, browser or device information, the page visited, timestamp, and Meta cookie or advertising identifiers. Meta may combine that information under its own policies. Learn more in Meta's Privacy Policy and Meta's information about cookies.

Your Choices

Advertising cookies remain off unless you select “Accept all” or enable them under “Manage preferences.” Selecting “Reject all” does not affect the strictly necessary technologies described above or limit website functionality.

You can withdraw or change your consent at any time by selecting “Cookie settings” in the website footer. Your preferences are stored per browser and device, so you may need to set them again elsewhere or after clearing browser data. Withdrawal stops future Meta PageView events from Spur; it does not retrieve information already received by Meta.

Spur treats an enabled Global Privacy Control signal as a rejection of advertising cookies and similar technologies. Because there is no universally accepted Do Not Track standard, Spur does not respond to the separate Do Not Track setting.

Changes And Contact

We may update this notice when our practices or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and seek permission before using materially different optional technology where required.

Questions or privacy requests may be sent to simon@takeactionwithspur.com.
